Solar Tower in Spain

How beautiful is this: 6000 homes powered by sunlight with zero emissions…

The sunlight is directed to the top of the tower, there it heats water up to 250 degrees to make steam and that steam is used to turn a generator to produce electricity.

It’s part of a massive $1.2 billion project in Seville, Spain, that will soon see over 180,000 homes powered by this solar energy plant. More details here
